Research data management and stewardship

Description

This two-day course (June 25, June 26) is aimed at researchers and graduate students in the biomedical sciences who wish to improve their skills on data handling. The course will introduce the concepts of the FAIR principles for data, the concept and implementation of data stewardship as well as practical aspects of day to day data management and data management plans, which are required in many grant applications.

In addition to lectures will offer hands-on sessions. Our programme covers the following:

  • Understanding the FAIR Principles for data
  • What is data stewardship and how it is done in practice
  • Data management planning
  • Scientific and computational reproducibility of research
  • Working with Human Data and Data Protection obligations

Registration is required for this event and the number of seats is limited. You may register using this online form before Friday, June 21th, 2019. You will require a laptop to participate in the hands-on sessions.
