Requirements in data protection law and the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation implementation
Description
Regina Becker, in charge of strategy development at ELIXIR Luxembourg, will give an introduction to the requirements of data protection laws for the processing of personal data.
The webinar will cover the changes due to the new European data protection regulation, the obligations of data controllers and processor as well as challenges in cross-border data transfer.
It will open the discussion on how to deal with national differences in the implementation across Europe and the role of ELIXIR services in supporting the Nodes in compliance with GDPR.
