ELIXIR Luxembourg offers secure, long-term data hosting with GDPR-compliant access management. Whether you are a data provider looking to share your datasets or a researcher seeking access to hosted data, our service provides a streamlined framework covering data transfer, curation, metadata standardization, and access control.
Disease and pathway maps are manually curated knowledge repositories describing molecular mechanisms of diseases. Hosted on the MINERVA Platform, these maps support overlay of experimental data, identification of drug targets, and computational workflows. We offer hosting, development support, and integration with FAIR-compliant repositories.
The FAIR Cookbook is an online resource helping to generate and keep data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR). It is meant for anyone working in Life Sciences – from researchers and data stewards to software developers and funders – who needs guidance on applying the FAIR Principles in practice. ELIXIR Luxembourg contributes to the development of the FAIR Cookbook and can guide you through the key steps of your FAIRification journey.
The Research Data Management toolkit for Life Sciences (RDMkit) is a comprehensive online resource developed by ELIXIR to support researchers in managing data according to FAIR principles. ELIXIR Luxembourg actively contributes content, serves on the editorial board, and brings domain expertise in translational medicine research data management.
The LNDS Knowledge Hub is a centralised platform bringing together RDM guidance materials, tool information, and an overview of national-level services. It covers the full research data management lifecycle, regulatory requirements, best practices for data preservation, persistent identifiers, and trusted repository selection.
Data Management Planning (DMP) is a key step in ensuring research data is properly handled throughout its lifecycle. ELIXIR Luxembourg provides the Data Stewardship Wizard (DSW) and expert guidance to help you write compliant DMPs for major European and Luxembourgish funders including Horizon Europe and FNR.
The Secure Processing Environment (SPE) provides isolated, internet-free computing infrastructure for processing sensitive biomedical research data. Designed for compliance with data protection regulations, the SPE supports genomic, clinical, and other confidential data that requires stringent security controls. Available primarily to national stakeholders and ELIXIR Luxembourg partners.
